Estate clearance after a death
After a death, the flat often has to be cleared as well. Before we start, we discuss with those commissioning the work how we will proceed, and we work discreetly and carefully.
At the visit, we inspect the contents and discuss what needs clearing.
What matters to you
What would you like to keep? Before the clearance, tell us which personal items to look for.
On request, we set aside letters we find. If you wish and describe particular letters, cards or notes, we look for them specifically.
- Photos: On request, we set aside family albums and individual photos we find.
- Jewellery: A personal piece of jewellery you want to keep is excluded from the purchase by prior agreement.
- Documents: On request, we set aside documents we find. If you wish and name particular papers beforehand, we look for them specifically.
- Handover: We agree who receives the items set aside. We also arrange the key handover beforehand.
